Corporate Services Division

The Corporate Services Division of the Ministry is responsible for providing administrative support for the daily operations of the Ministry and its personnel functions.  These include:

• General Support Services
• Finance & Budgeting

General Support Services Section

The General Support Services Section of the Ministry of Trade, Industry, Commerce and Consumer Affairs is responsible for providing administrative support in Human Resource Development and Office Management.

This section has overall responsibility for the Ministry’s staff welfare, recruitment, promotion, retirement, dismissal, leave and general conditions of service.

The Section also ensures that the Ministry’s training needs are identified, sourced and fulfilled, having regard for capacity building and resource constraints.

Finance and Budgeting Section

The Finance and Budgeting Division, working with Permanent Secretary, has the responsibility for the management of the Ministry’s budget and of its financial commitments. The Division performs functions relating to:

• Budget
• Disbursement
• Salaries
