The objectives of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Consumer Affairs with respect to the development of Industry are as follows:-
To supervise the orderly operation, growth and development of the Industrial Sector;
To undertake programmes and projects which will foster growth, involvement by nationals, and in general, the development of the Industrial Sector;
To administer a Fiscal Incentives regime for the encouragement of investment;
To promote the attainment of national goals and objectives in respect of investment and industrialization;
To implement Government's industrialization policy in collaboration with the National Development Corporation.
