Attention Trade Licence Holders

Further to the Press Release and notice issued to Holders of Trade Licence, the Ministry of Commerce, Business Development, Investment and Consumer Affairs hereby informs all persons and firms conducting trade in Saint Lucia who are not CARICOM nationals within the meaning of the Trade Licence Act to ensure that they have a valid Trade Licence to conduct trade in Saint Lucia.

Effective July 1, 2013, the Ministry of Commerce, Business Development, Investment and Consumer Affairs will be conducting an intensive island wide monitoring and enforcement campaign to ensure compliance by Trade Licence Holders to the provisions of the Trade Licence Act, Cap 13.04 of the Revised Law's of Saint Lucia. Failure to comply will result in the application of the penalties outlined in the said Act.

All Trade Licence are issued annually by the Hon. Minister for Commerce. All applications should be submitted in triplicate on the prescribed form to the Secretary of the Trade Licence Board, Ministry of Commerce, Business Development, Investment and Consumer Affairs.
