UWI Open Campus Celebrates Global Entrepreneurship Week 2013

On Thursday 21st November 2013, ten (10) young entrepreneurs from St Lucia will  benefit  from thirty minute long, one-on-one sessions with successful UK entrepreneur and Amazon best-selling author Julian Hall "The Ultrapreneur." http://www.julianhall.co.uk

This exciting initiative is being organized by The University of the West Indies, Open Campus Saint Lucia in collaboration with The Small Enterprise Development Unit (SEDU), and forms part of the Open Campuses contribution to Global Entrepreneurship Week 2013.

Entrepreneurship is often cited as the key to unlocking a country's true potential for national development and economic growth. As a result, there are many who are interested in turning their talent, creativity and passion into a profitable business. However, this is no easy task and is one that requires guidance, support and a generally nurturing environment.

These, private coaching sessions with Julian Hall, to be held via Skype at The University of the West Indies Open Campus, aim to do just that - at no cost to the participants.

Julian Hall has delivered coaching sessions to audiences in London, Washington DC and also the Caribbean.  He counts amongst his clients the governments of Trinidad and Tobago, The British Virgin Islands, St. Maarten, St. Kitts and Nevis, Barbados, and Dominica.  The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) and The Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) have also benefitted from his coaching sessions.

Julian's unique style of mentoring leaves those listening feeling not only inspired with an "If he can do it, so can I" attitude, but empowered with the tools to tackle it themselves too.  He manages to draw on both his personal and entrepreneurial experiences, with a focus on excellence being of paramount importance.  An ardent believer in helping young persons fulfill their potential, Julian Hall regularly uses his time to mentor young entrepreneurs; to lend support to those now beginning their own journey along a similar path.

All of this expertise is being offered free of charge to ten (10) lucky St. Lucian entrepreneurs at the UWI Open Campus on Morne Fortune, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, 21st November 2013. To complement the sessions and lend them further support, each participant will receive a copy of Mr Hall's Amazon best-selling book Entrepreneur to Ultrapreneur.
