Import Monitoring

The External Trade Act Number 13 of 2011 of the Revised Laws of St. Lucia makes provision for the importation of certain classes of goods into St. Lucia by obtaining an Import Licence through the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce, Business Development, Investment, and Consumer Affairs.

The class of goods require Import License can be obtained from the External Trade (Restricted  Imports) (No.118) Order of 2012.

In order to obtain a license an importer must first submit an application online on ASYCUDA World at aw.customs.gov.lc.
